"That's my mop!"

I hate this thing. Swiffer Wet Jet? Failure.
Our kitchen floors and this rickety piece of plastic junk do not work well together. I need something that will actually get into the concave parts of the floor and a flat cleaning head ain't gonna do it.
I keep telling olivia I just want an old school mop and bucket of diluted cleaner. When the fluid runs out in the current refill, the Swiffer is going in the trash heap.

  1. Hands and knees. Best way to clean a floor - just sayin'

  2. you are so right Kellet, the only time our kitchen floor has ever looked good is when I've scrubbed it on my hands and knees, which is rare.

  5. We have a steam mop that works really well but hands and knees is really the only way to get it super clean. But how has the time and desire to do that regularly?

  6. We have a steam mop. I think it has been used all of three times and I'll add never by me. I may give that a try.
Hands and knees? I don't even have a desire to do that occasionally...

  7. I like the UHF reference. I'm with you on this one though. Cleaner, bucket, mop, rinse water, shiny floors. Sometimes you just have to run to the window and shout "These floors are dirty as hell and I'm not gonna take it any longer." Now I'm off to spatula city.
